Portland cement is the product, produced by grinding clinkermanufactured by burning raw materials like limestone, marl, clay, ironore, pyrite ash, bauxite etc. at appropriate proportions by addition ofa certain amount of retarder (generally gypsum) and sets and gainsstrength after a certain time being mixed with water.

It isgenerally used in works requiring high strength values, concrete worksperformed at low temperatures, precast buildings, tunnel-formapplications, building chemical maunfacturing and foundations.

Quality Control
Our factory is extremely sensitive about the quality of cement andclinker it produces both in Turkey and abroad. Being not hesitate toinvest in the latest technology, the factory also pays the sameattention to quality investments.

Raw material composition is analyzed simultaneously at every 5 minutesby the gamma-ray analyzers placed on the raw material bands and thiscomposition is justified automatically for 24 hours.

Chemical analysis, with a daily average of 100 at Quality ControlLaboratory, is performed with XRF (X-Ray fluorescence) to direct thenext stages of production.

Physical and mechanical tests and analyzes, performed within a day orfor 24 hours, along with the quality are being tracked closely and, ifneeded, the process is intervened on time.

The coal burned in the oven is regularly analyzed and the production is directed. A partial automation has been established in the Quality ControlLaboratory. The sample comes to the laboratory from some of theproduction stages automatically, then it is prepared and subjected tochemical analysis, again, automatically.

The investment to technology and experienced staff of Our Factory reflect the quality of all of its products.

Our Factory`s all products are certified with T.S.E. ComplianceCertificate. In addition, the product SDÇ 32,5 (Sulfate ResistantCement) is certified with K.Ç.K Quality Control Certificate.

Products of Our Factory have the right of using CE sign. Certificationwas done by PRYSMA on behalf of AENOR (Asociación Espanola deNormalización y Certificación) and it is inspected once a year from thequality control and quality system point of view.
